Frequently Asked Questions

When can I hold my party/event?

RAMP 1 parties are available every day.

The greatest demand is during weekends so we advise you book as early as possible. Parties can be booked from as early as 10 am onwards and the last bookings are at 7pm (excludes Sunday, 5pm)

Don’t panic if you think you have left it too late. We may be able to fit you in so feel free to call and discuss with a member of the party team

How long does a party last for?

The parties last for 2 hours 30 minutes.

Your very own party coordinator will look after the guests.

  • 15 minutes equipment fit out and safety demonstration
  • 1 hour 30 minutes in the Park with your chosen activity
  • 45 minutes partying in the party room with your chosen food option

Is there anything for parents to do?

Yes, we have designated seating which you can reserve, please just ask.

We serve Illy coffee and exceptional food in our 150 seat cafe.

You are also welcome to watch your children in the park through the viewing glass or viewing platform.

What ages are the parties suitable for?

We recommend that Ramp 1 is for children aged 4 years and upwards.

There are specific sections of the park for riders with varying abilities.

There is a designated area especially suited to under 10’s.

We also advise that only skateboard or scooter’s are used at ages 10 and under during parties as bikes can be harder to control.

What do you need to wear and bring?

Ramp 1 will provide all safety equipment and your chosen equipment, scooter, skateboard or BMX.

Other than that just wear your normal clothes with sensible footwear which have grip.[/symple_toggle]

Can BMX, skateboard or scooter sports be dangerous?

All sports can be dangerous. The ramps that will be used for small children are designed for beginners, unless the group is older or more experienced.

The group will have a Ramp 1 staff member present most of the time.

Occasionally accidents can happen, usually a small fall or gentle collision. Our initial brief during the party will hopefully demonstrate the park safety rules.

How much notice do I need to give to change guest numbers?

We ask that you give at least 2 hours notice if possible.

Please note we only cater for parties of 10 guests or more.

What about special dietary requirements?

Please let us know if any guests have special requirements and we will try to accommodate your requests.

Is there a deposit to pay to secure my booking?

Ramp 1 asks for a £50.00 non-refundable deposit to book your party.

We accept all major credit/debit cards.

Where can I get RAMP 1 party invites to give to my guests?

Party invites are available for collection from RAMP 1 reception. You may also download the invitations in PDF format and print by clicking here.
